Alderman Toni L. Foulkes of the 15th Ward of Chicago has congratulated the OAV participants at Earle STEM Elementary School.
In a formal letter to Charles W. Earle Elementary School, Ald. Foulkes wrote that “the dedication and collaboration from each student to create positive change in your community is highly commendable.” She continued,
“I am certain that I speak for the grateful and law-abiding citizens of Englewood in expressing our sincere appreciation to the Earle STEM Elementary School.”
She concluded her letter by stating, “You are the gifts that the world is waiting for.”
Earle STEM’s OAV group worked and is seeking to continue working to reduce the abuse of social media in their school, much of which leads to other problems that impact the school community. Dr. Crystal Brown and Ms. Marla Broy facilitated the Our American Voice® program at Earle STEM, whose principal Mr. Demetrius Hobson, is seeking support to continue the OAV program next year at Earle STEM.
